General Guidelines

• Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time
• Bring your identification and insurance information (if applicable)
• Inform the lab technician of any medications you are taking
• Follow any specific instructions provided for your test

Fasting Tests

For tests that require fasting:

• Do not eat or drink anything except water for 8-12 hours before the test
• Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before the test
• Do not smoke or chew gum during the fasting period
• Continue to take prescribed medications unless instructed otherwise by your doctor

Result Delivery

Your test results will be:

• Available for pickup at our facility
• Emailed to you (if you provided an email address)
• Sent directly to your referring physician upon request

Reading Your Results

Your test report will include:

• Test name and date performed
• Your test value or result
• Reference range (normal values)
• Flag for results outside normal range

We recommend discussing your results with a healthcare provider for proper interpretation.
